Our Story

Jesseca Perez is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and Spelling to Communicate (S2C) practitioner with years of experience in pediatric and clinical settings. Her path to Speech Love Spell was shaped by listening and learning from the nonspeaking community. When she discovered how misunderstood this community really was, and what became possible through letterboards and typing, she never looked back.

Jesseca knew the individuals she was working with deserved something different — support that listened first, presumed competence, and approached communication for nonspeakers as what it truly is: a motor act. Her training spans motor informed speech therapy, sensory integration, gestalt language processing, AAC and Spelling to Communicate. Jesseca is honored to walk alongside nonspeakers and their families on the journey of change, growth, and access to communication.
